Growing up as a child was quite eventful and fun-filled. Apart from the Zoological Gardens at the University of Ibadan, Trans Amusement Park at Samonda, very close to the University of Ibadan was one of my favorite fun destinations.

On
Saturday June 28, it rained heavily in Ibadan. For me, it started around 2pm cos I was
at the University of Ibadan to give a talk on freelance journalism. Because the
rain kept falling, I had to speak for more than 3 hours.

MC Rapindady is one of Ibadan's finest comedians, no doubt about that. I spoke to him on his event coming up on Sunday; we also talked extensively on the comedy industry in Ibadan, the quality of comedians and he attempted to answer the question of how much are Ibadan people willing to pay - and nothing more - for a show?

smeared morality.

Ibadan, southwest Nigeria is a beehive of activities - not by sanitary
inspectors and hygiene officers - but by individuals who have found the
place the best (or most convenient) place to defecate, even though a
bold notice threatens 'open defecators' with huge fines.

While the incumbent administration in Oyo state is being credited with transformation of the state, especially Ibadan, many residents in the city believe the Sen. Abiola Ajimobi-led administration in the state had neglected them. This is the focus of a new series "Ibadan: The Neglected Ones" that would premier on Monday on IBPulse.com.
