What does your company do?
360Pera is an unlimited business
solution and financial empowerment platform aimed at helping people to build
worthwhile and sustainable personal businesses and also become financially
independent. The 360pera site is an avenue for sellers of everyday products and
service providers to showcase there products and services to a pool of
customers from their city, starting from Ibadan.
It is an avenue for people to
search for and access quality everyday products and services at affordable
prices from the comfort of their homes and offices. It is also an avenue for
people to generate a passive income for themselves.
Why did you start in Ibadan?
We started in Ibadan because a
lot of online activities are being originated from Ibadan recently and people
have to patronize websites that does not have any office in Ibadan to buy
online. Also, people need to be more sensitized about buying online in this
part of the country.
The city has been said by many
people to be hostile to new type of businesses and we want people to understand
it is just an imagination, it is not real.
How has the response been to your brand?
Well so far, we've been having a
tremendous turnout from vendors (people showcasing products and services) and
on the people buying we are seeing increase in numbers on a daily basis.
How can interested individuals get on board?
To display your products and
services, it is free but your products or services will have to meet a few
conditions. To buy from the website you only need your regular ATM Cards,
Verve, Visa or Mastercard.
To become a member so as to enjoy
discount on sales and services and also participate in our financial
empowerment program, you will need to register under on of our three categories
– standard, mini and students categories.
How many businesses are on your platform currently?
We have over 50 businesses with
over 1,000 products and services already and over 200 undergoing review and
verification process; and our marketers are always on the streets getting more
businesses on board.
Who essentially pays for your services?
Essentially buyers both members
and non members
Why didn't you choose Lagos to start operations? What attracted you to Ibadan?
A lot of things have been started
from Lagos and they eventually spread to Ibadan, but not many innovations have
been propagated from Ibadan in recent times. Apart from that, Ibadan is the
next place businesses are beginning to look at for investment in the south
western part of the country after Lagos, so we are positioning ourselves for
this phase of development.
Another reason is that Ibadan is
more accessible than Lagos, in terms of delivery. If a business is able to
survive in Ibadan, it can survive anywhere in this country.
