University of Ibadan has announced the expulsion of 78 students of the institution. The school said the affected students were expelled for failing to
obtain the minimum academic requirements for the 2012/2013 session.

Commission (NUC) for its recent clampdown on fake Continuing Education
Centres (CEC) offering part-time and weekend courses to unsuspecting

Dr. Taiwo Olayemi Elufioye of the Department of Pharmacognosy,

Foundation Awards, among four other women and would receive awards for

Division this morning Feb 22nd on a solidarity protest. They demanded to
know what the police was doing about the rape and murder of one of
their own, Ms. Taiwo Omolara Shittu.

Fire incidence occurred in the early hours of today at the University of Ibadan as the buttery of one of the university's halls of residence, Kuti Hall was gutted in fire.
Information available to IBPulse.com revealed that the fire incidence started around 6 in the morning with an ordinary electric spark bur the inability to put it under control resulted in a full blown fire outbreak.
Fire officials also got to the site late resulting in the entire destruction of the affected area.
